Stuff local to Limerick
Update: There is of course the “ShareIT†Initiative down in Cork too on the 24th March.
ShareIT will offer free training by experienced business people who are experts in their respect areas to companies and individuals starting out in the world of IT. These training days are open to startup companies, companies with less than 10 employees and individuals considering starting an IT business.

Anyone heard of openCoffee club? The Cork OpenCoffee Club is kicking off tomorrow (16th March) in Luigi Malone’s on Emmet Place in Cork City Centre.
The Limerick one looks like it is being co-ordinated by James and Mary and they are aiming for the 22nd March from 11 to 12am and then hopefully every fortnight after that.
What is is actually? According to localglo.be:
This is an attempt to establish recognized, open and regular meeting places where entrepreneurs can meet with investors (and anyone else who fancies coming along) in a totally informal setting.
or for Cork people
The aim of the club is to bring together a good mix of entrepreneurs, investors, developers and marketers, plus anyone else who is interested in growing the start-up community in Cork.

If there is demand, we can have a ShareIT in Limerick too. It is hoped that they’ll move about.
