Random solutions to problems

Sometimes I’ve found a way out of a hole and I think it would be nice to share

Plesk: If you see this:

This is the Pleskâ„¢ default page

If you see this page it means:

1) hosting for this domain is not configured
or
2) there’s no such domain registered in Plesk.

For more information please contact @adminemail@.

It could be that you changed the domain name from your temporary address to your real domain or another one. (Server -> Server preferences -> Full hostname).
Thing is you also need to reboot for the changes to really take effect – rebooting is something I’m not a fan of, especially when the machine is in another country.

How to connect your 6600 with Linux via Bluetooth:
follow these instructions and use the gnubox6600.sis file. I tried a newer version from the gnubox website but it kept trying to dial out and saying stuff like

DialOutLSP
Description:
DefaultTelNum: 1234
ModemBearer
No Nokia modem

and “gnubox: already in use”/”gnubox: bereits in verwendung”

you may also need to change the IP address from the suggested 169.254.x.x. or whatever your local ip looked like to something more along the lines of 10.1.1.x
Setting up the NAT under linux can be quickly done with the script here changing things like ppp1 ppp0 eth0 etc to your local settings
